About the job

We are seeking an exceptional and versatile individual to join our fast-growing startup for the CEO’s Office. This is a pivotal role within our organization as the first business hire, where you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO, wear multiple hats, and contribute to critical aspects of our company's success. You will be the CEO's right-hand and trusted advisor, supporting them in all areas that are critical to the company's growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Product & Strategic Support: Work closely with the CEO to define and execute the company's strategic objectives. Assist in being the ears/ eyes of the company on the field and bringing back any customer feedback to enable product decision-making, conducting research, analyzing data, and developing insights to inform decision-making. Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • BD and Growth Support: Drive creative ways to drive lead generation and customer management including attending sales calls with the founding team, identifying opportunities to reach out to customers, working on messaging/ pitch to maximize lead generation, etc.
  • Project Management: Manage and drive cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and delivery. Collaborate with team members from different departments to align resources, establish project goals, and monitor progress. Provide regular updates to the CEO and relevant stakeholders.
  • Communication and Coordination: Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items. Foster effective communication channels and help disseminate information throughout the organization.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist the CEO in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Analyze financial data, generate reports, and provide recommendations for cost optimization, revenue growth, and resource allocation.
  • People and Culture: Support the CEO in developing and implementing HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, performance management, and culture-building activities. Help foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Special Projects: Take on special assignments and ad hoc projects as directed by the CEO. This may include market research, competitor analysis, partnership development, or other strategic initiatives critical to the company's growth.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment, management consulting, or a similar role that involved exposure to strategic decision-making, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business fundamentals, including strategy, operations, finance, and marketing. Ability to think strategically and analyze complex situations to provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate ideas, present information, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Versatility and Adaptability: Comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking on diverse responsibilities. Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in gathering and analyzing data to inform decision-making. Experience with financial analysis, data interpretation, and presentation of insights.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Proactive and Detail-Oriented: Self-starter with a proactive mindset and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to anticipate needs, identify potential challenges, and take initiative to address them.
Compensation

The salary has a base + performance bonus + equity components. The compensation will be competitive and is not a constraint for the right candidate.
